My six year old daughter usually turned away from soccer. She enjoys being physically challenged: dance, gymnastics, and ariel type classes like bars, rings and silks and of course she loves crafts, crafts, crafts however no team sports, no soccer. I read through the summer camp offerings through OUSD. We were late to sign up, camps were filling up fast, offerings that appealed to my daughter were few. I read through the GLG program and gave soccer another shot. When I mentioned it was all girl's, she brightened up at the idea. My wife and I were hesitant. Would our daughter last eight hours at a soccer camp considering she's never really showed an interest? We signed up for one week, she wanted to go back, she didn't want it to end. We were fortunate enough to jump on openings for an additional two weeks. She loved the coaches, the soccer, the crafts, the friends. It's all true. The coaches are excellent! The program fosters positivity and confidence, yes in soccer, but also as a person in the world. An excellent program. GLG is amazing. Keep it going! - Loving Papa

GLG was so chill and welcoming to my brand-new soccer-playing daughter. She felt so at ease with Emily and the coaches. She really learned a lot of new soccer skills and enjoyed making bucket hats and bracelets. She made new friends, felt included, and supported by the culture.
