Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Girls Leading Goals (SF SOL)(“SF SOL,” “we,” “us”) respects the privacy of the families we work with. This policy explains what information we collect through girlsleadinggoals.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you fill out a form on this site — contact, tryouts, bring your team, financial aid, or sponsored talent — we collect what you provide directly: your name, email, phone number, and any additional details relevant to that form (for example, a player’s age group, current club, or a video link for sponsorship review). Forms on this site are filled out by a parent or guardian; we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
We also collect standard site-usage data automatically — pages visited, general location (city level), device/browser type, and how you arrived at the site (for example, a search engine or an ad campaign) — through Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel. This data is aggregated and isn’t used to personally identify you.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and follow up about programs, tryouts, or registration.
- To evaluate sponsorship submissions and financial aid requests.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful to families, so we can improve the site.
- To measure the effectiveness of our own advertising (Google and Meta ads).
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — for example, the internal systems we use to route and respond to leads, and (once a player registers) team-management tools like TeamSnap. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies & tracking
This site uses Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand traffic and measure ad performance; these set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. It also stores UTM campaign parameters (which campaign brought you here) locally in your browser so a form submitted later in your visit can still be attributed correctly. You can block or clear these through your browser’s privacy settings at any time — the site will still work, though we won’t be able to measure your visit.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us and limit access to staff who need it to do their jobs — coordinating tryouts, registration, coaching assignments, and financial aid.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you or your player at any time — just email info@girlsleadinggoals.org.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
