Youth soccer in San Francisco has a cost problem, and pretending otherwise helps no one. We publish our real prices on the Pricing page because families deserve straight numbers — and this page exists for the families where even a fair number doesn't fit the budget.

If that's your family, we want to hear from you — reach out below, or call/text us directly. Here's exactly how it works:

How We Actually Decide.

Most competitive youth clubs that publish an aid policy do it as a hard income cutoff — a percentage of the federal poverty line, a strict dollar ceiling, a table you check yourself against before you even ask. It's honest, but it's also a wall: real families sit just above the line and get nothing, no matter how real the need is.

We looked at two years of our own aid decisions before writing this page, and that's not how we actually decide. If your household already participates in a public-benefit program — Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, Food Stamps, or SF Public Housing — that's a real, independently-confirmed need signal, and it carries real weight. No public program, still a real cost problem? We talk it through and ask for simple documentation instead of checking you against a table. Either path can lead anywhere from a partial discount to a majority of the cost, depending on the situation — not a formula.

How it works

  1. 1Send the form below (or call/text (415) 496-5608) — a sentence or two about your situation is enough to start.
  2. 2We have a short, private conversation and ask for simple verification of need — a tax return or two recent pay stubs, or just your public-benefit enrollment if you have one.
  3. 3Our General Manager reviews it personally. You get a clear answer, fast — so you can register before the season fills, not after.

STANDING DISCOUNTS — NO APPLICATION NEEDED

  • 10% sibling discountfor each additional sibling (camps)
  • 10% new-family discountfor families new to SF SOL (camps)

Ask about financial aid

Private, quick, and judgment-free — that's a promise.

Is She Exceptional? We Sponsor Exceptional.

Financial aid is about access. This is about something else: SF SOL actively sponsors standout players — including girls currently playing at other clubs. If your daughter is the best player on her team, we want to see her play.

Cost questions

Is financial aid available?
Yes. Financial aid is available for qualifying families across every program — reach out and we'll talk it through directly, with simple verification of need. See Financial Aid for how it works.
Can we pay in installments?
For the Spring season, yes — dues are collected in two installments: the first when registration opens in November, the second in early February. For other seasons, reach out and we'll talk through timing — we'd rather have that conversation than have cost timing be the blocker.
