What it feels like
More than a practice.
A ball at their feet, friends all around, and a coach who knows their name — the moments that make a player want to come back next week.

Practice fields

SF SOL practices happen citywide — most often on Golden Gate Park turf and grass fields (Beach Chalet, Crocker Amazon, Big Rec, Polo Fields), Sunset District playgrounds (West Sunset, South Sunset), and neighborhood fields in the Marina, SOMA, Presidio, and Fillmore. SF Rec & Park assigns exact fields through an annual permit lottery, so specific locations shift somewhat from season to season — this map reflects where SF SOL teams have typically played.
