National Girls & Women in Sports Day, Feb 5th Free Clinic in Oakland, CA
On Wednesday, February 5, 2020, join us in celebrating National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). This annual event is powered by the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF) to celebrate the importance of equal opportunity for all girls and women in sports.
This year marks the 34th year of NGWSD, where people across the country come together to inspire girls and women to connect with their power through play and being active. WSF is aligned with our values that confidence, strength and character gained through sports participation are the very tools girls and women need to become strong leaders in sports and life. The Women’s Sports Foundation are advocates that seek to protect Title IX and advance gender equity, athletes inspiring greatness, and coaches promoting play on a daily basis.
Girls Leading Girls will be joining this vibrant movement by hosting a FREE soccer clinic for girls ages 7-17 in Oakland, CA! See details below.
