The design of our girl-centered program begins with our coaches. Our programs focus on three main areas: skills development, leadership training, and character-building activities.

Junior Coach Program
The GLG Junior Coach (JC) program is designed as an apprenticeship for high school players to learn how to become a coach through practical experience and mentorship. The Junior Coach supports the head coach with practices each week and with optional games each weekend. They serve as a role model and leader for the team, help to create an energetic and safe space for soccer practice, and will learn how to lead and help demonstrate drills. Each JC is supported by the team’s head coach, the Club Program Coordinator, and the Managing Director.

Teaching them the skills helps me, too, because I relearn them better. As a person, it feels good to help people.
