Girls Leading Girls is a San Francisco based 501c3 nonprofit that trains over 500 young girls ages 7-17 every year in leadership and life skills through soccer. We’re inviting over 250 members of the San Francisco, Bay Area community to come hear from influential, outstanding women on our panel, learn about our programs and the girls we serve, as well as enjoy a night out with dancing, exquisite cuisine, spirits, and activities. The goal of our event is to raise $20,000 towards our FREE soccer & leadership programming and scholarships for girls in low income public schools in San Francisco and Oakland.
Let’s celebrate the end of a great year (and decade) as a community on December 4th at Airbnb HQ. Along with music, photo booth, food and activities for youth, we will be hosting a discussion about sports advocacy for girls, keeping girls in the game, and how we can continue to use sports/soccer specifically as a platform for positive social change.
Tickets include:
Access to panel of local women change makers including Danielle Slaton, former U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team player & Olympian; Cori Callahan, UC Berkeley Women’s Soccer Team Assistant Coach; Carly Malatskey, Stanford University Women’s Soccer Team player
